  • 2 pounds chicken tenders or chicken breasts if using breast, cut them into strips
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cups parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • spray avocado oil or other spray oil without additives
  1. Mix panko bread crumbs, salt and parmesan together in dish.

  2. Dip chicken tenders in melted butter, then into panko/parmesan mixture. Ensure tenders are completely coated.

  3. Set chicken tender aside on a large plate or baking pan.

  4. Repeat process with remaining chicken tenders, until all are coated.

  5. Spray chicken tenders with avocado oil, evenly. Gently turn chicken tenders over and spray again with oil.

  6. Place coated chicken tenders in air fryer basket, allowing room to move between chicken tenders. (In my 5.8 quart basket I can fit 3-5 chicken tenders at a time, depending on size.)

  7. Cook chicken strips for 9-10 minutes at 380F in air fryer, flipping over half way through. Repeat cooking batches until all chicken strips have been cooked.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
